The small roller or sliding element normally used for joining the curtain to a ribbon and moving along the groove in a curtain rail is replaced by a magnet (2) coated with a suitable material (1) and provided with an angle element (3) at the back. The vertical segment of the angle element (3) is inserted into one of the loops provided at the ribbon. The curtain can now be hung to a magnetic surface, kept in position by the magnetic elements (1, 2, 3).
