The wheel has an axle (1), two metal bearings (2), a generator unit (3), a wheel set (4) for a planetary gearbox and a hub (5). The axle passes through the bearings, generator unit and wheel set and this unit is mounted in the hub. The bearings are attached to both ends of the axle and the generator unit has a magnet (32) and a coil (31). The wheel set has a wheel (41) with inner teeth, two planetary wheels (42) and a drive wheel (43) with a tube (431) carrying the magnet so that electric current is generated when the hub turns.
