The fastening elements for the fastening of radiation screens on a convection heater (1) are loosely inserted in the lower U-form angled edge of the radiation screen (2). The fastening elements each have at least one spring element which with pressing of the radiation screen onto the radiator clips over a metal strip (9) rigidly fitted on the heater. The fastening element has at least one mating holding bracket which in the clipped in state comes to lie below the metal strip and fixes the radiation screen at the bottom.
