PURPOSE: A device for processing a host using an external storing medium is provided to play/record a media file and protect a CONSTITUTION: A USB(Universal Serial Bus) module(440) offers access to the external storing medium(410) by connecting to the external storing medium through a digital transfer medium. A signal processing module(470) decodes media data according to the first signal processing mode. A processing module(450) controls operation of a host processing device. A system memory module(480) offers a memory space for the operation of the host processing device.
