PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic data processing system whose waiting time is short, and whose data transferring time efficiency is satisfactory. SOLUTION: This electronic data processing system is provided with an electronic card 1, a disk cartridge type electronic data processing adaptor 2 in which the electronic card 1 can be housed, and an electronic data processor 3 incorporating a disk drive device 4. The electronic card 1 is housed in the electronic data processing adapor 2, and which is mounted on the disk drive device 4 of the electronic data processor 3 so that data can be exchanged between the electronic card through the electronic data processing adaptor 2 and the electronic data processor 3. The electronic data processing adaptor 2 is provided with a synchronizing signal generating means. Thus, data can be exchanged between the electronic card 1 and the electronic data processor 3 based on a synchronizing signal for data transfer generated from the synchronizing signal generating means. |
