FIELD: electrical engineering; power supply to miscellaneous pieces of equipment. SUBSTANCE: novelty is that proposed section is built of two three-dimensional prefabricated modules, U- shaped as viewed from top, that accommodate set of cubicles with primarily factory assembled and wired switching units as well as monitoring, protective, and grounding devices; modules are integrated on site through at least butt ends of transversal walls to form box-shaped rooms; each module has bottom with external ribs and at least one opening covered with removable panel of floor; section-forming integrated modules are at least partially supported through ribs by mating ribs of U-shaped foundation panels mounted on bedplate or by respective bearing structure of foundation; cable vaults communicating through bottom openings of modules with distribution center section room are disposed under module bottoms and in U-shaped panels, or in spaces formed in foundation. EFFECT: enhanced economic efficiency, facilitated installation, wiring, operation, and maintenance, enhanced reliability and life expectancy. 8 cl, 5 dwg
