FIELD: systems for controlling operation of hydraulic cyclones, possibly in concentration plants, in chemical, food making and other industry branches. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of regulating fraction size o drain by changing pressure of ejecting streams of ejecting devices in zone of draining branch pipe and sand branch pipes or by changing revolution number of ejecting devices or by combining both such procedures. Apparatus for controlling operation of hydraulic cyclone includes cylinder-cone housing with tangential inlet, draining and sand branch pipes; arranged along lengthwise axis of housing two supply branch pipes that may perform reciprocation motion. One supply branch pipe is arranged at side of draining branch pipe and other is arranged at side of sand branch pipe. Supply branch pipes have in their ends ejecting devices mounted with possibility of forced rotation. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of controlling, intensified operation modes. 3 cl, 2 dwg |
