FIELD: mechanical engineering; particularly, foundry. SUBSTANCE: molding box is filled with molding sand through feeding pipe installed on cover of molding box. Vibration is used during charging molding sand. Molding sand gains high flow similar to fluidity of water. Molding sand is rammed owing to pressure of molding sand column available in feeding pipe and distributed over the whole volume of sand mold. EFFECT: enhanced quality of sand mold owing to uniform ramming of the whole volume of molding sand. 1 dwg |
