FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: method includes installation of ampoule under lower fuel element bundle before mounting fuel assembly in preparation cavity turnover device. Other fuel element bundle is disposed in small cavity holding ampoule pre-installed under upper fuel element bundle. Prior to turning over lower fuel element bundle covers are tightly fitted onto ampoules of small cavity and turn-over device. After all sockets of shipping container bag are filled up, this bag is installed in fuel element bundle shipping container. Preparation chamber is provided with shipping container bag for fuel element bundles. Set of equipment is provided in addition with two wall-mounted cantilever cranes. First cantilever crane is mounted for movement between shipping container bag for hangers of fuel assemblies and intake socket. Second cantilever crane is installed for displacement between shipping container bag for fuel element bundles and preparation chamber. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 8 cl, 12 dwg
