FIELD: shipbuilding; water-jet propellers. SUBSTANCE: proposed water-jet propulsion complex includes two centrifugal pumps located in ship s stern and provided with water scoops and nozzle orifices. Water scoops are located on either side. Part of inner skin of water scoop is made in form of convex surface of wing and opposite part of fore skin is parallel to wing chord and is provided with artificial roughness. Angle between ship s CL and wing chord ranges from 45 to 90 deg. EFFECT: increase of thrust by 25-35%; enhanced efficiency. 2 dwg |
