FIELD: dry, fine and superfine disintegration of hard-to-mill, explosion-hazard and other fragile materials. SUBSTANCE: disc mill includes housing, working chamber, two discs mounted coaxially in housing with possibility of rotation in opposite directions. Housing may be assembled and disassembled; working chamber is restricted by supporting discs and by metallic protective ring. Discs are made of diamagnetic metal and they are mounted with possibility of rotation at different revolution number. Discs have grooves in the form of Archimedian spirals with rectilinear edges. Hard-alloy inserts are placed in grooves of discs. Shaped threaded rings are secured to outer surfaces of discs. In housing there are units for mutually approaching upper and lower discs, chamber for preliminary evacuation, multiplicator and drive. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of disintegration, increased useful life period, lowered power consumption. 3 cl, 6 dwg |
