FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at provision for capability to locate points of loss of tightness in articles installed inside spacecraft, for instance, temperature control systems which have operating pressure less than spacecraft under condition of orbital flight. It is ensured as follows: article filled with working liquid having water component is placed in sealed compartment, pressure exceeding pressure in compartment is formed in article, after endurance for certain time relative humidity of air is measured right on surface of article filled with working liquid in different points, maximum value of relative humidity is recorded, recorded maximum value of relative humidity is compared with maximum permissible relative humidity in sealed compartment and point of loss of tightness in articles is located by value of excess of humidity in point of recording of maximum value above maximum value of humidity in compartment. EFFECT: capability to locate points of loss of tightness in articles installed inside spacecraft.
