The swithed feed is from an alternating voltage source, preferably the public electricity mains, of short duration supply of a relatively large capacity to one or more direct current users, such as one or more direct current motors (9), galvanically separated from the alternating voltage course. Included are an input filter (2), a primary direct current rectifier (3), a high frequency uncoupling capacitor (C1) so dimensioned that under normal operating conditions no noteworthy surges of the rectified alternating voltage coming from the alternating voltage source (1) occur. A series connection between two capacity transistors (T1,T2) is connected between the positive and negative connection of the primary rectifier, fitted on a cooling plate. Steering devices (4) determine that the capacity transistors are brought into connection in turn and not overlapping. A transformer (Re1) with a primary winding (7) is relatively poorly coupled with one or more secondary windings (8a,8b) and on the one hand is connected with the node point of the capacity transistors and on the other hand via one or more first resonance capacities (C7) with one or both of the direct current connections of the primary rectifier secondary diodea (D1a,D1b) connected with the one or more secondary windings.
