3-DECIBEL COUPLER USING HIGH TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTOR

PURPOSE: A 3-decibel coupler using a high temperature superconductor is provided to reduce power loss and embody a small device by using a high temperature superconductive thin film of a fine line structure of a branch line type. CONSTITUTION: A LaAlO3 substrate is prepared. At least three high-temperature superconductive port patterns for signal input/output include a pair of a parallel row-arm patterns and a pair of parallel column-arm patterns on the LaAlO3 substrate. The high-temperature superconductive port pattern is coupled to a high-temperature distribution arm pattern for signal distribution coupled by a rectangular type and the parallel-column arm pattern of the distribution arm pattern.
