The ironing furniture comprises a support structure (S) the upper part of which delimits an upward opening volume. A lid (5) forming the top surface is articulated to the structure so as to be pivoted between open and closed positions. A folding ironing board, housed in a folded state in the volume when the lid is closed, is linked to the support structure via a guide (16) enabling its vertical translation. The board comprises a central board (13) and two lateral boards (12,14). A transmission between the lid and the board cause the board to be displaced upwards when the lid is pivoted from the closed to the open position. There is a drawer (3) sliding along runners giving access to a shelf (4) and an electrical plug (39).
