PURPOSE: A device for locking a fuel filler door is provided to prevent a vehicle from starting with an unmounted fuel cap through one's carelessness after filling a fuel tank with fuel. CONSTITUTION: A device for locking a fuel filler door has a fuel cap(40) for closing up a filler neck(20) and the filler door for closing a fuel injection port. Piezo-electric sensors(22) for sensing the mounted state of the fuel cap are installed to the outside of the end of the filler neck, and the locking of the filler door is selectively allowed by the signal of the sensor. The piezo-electric sensors are disposed on the lower sides of a flange(21) of the filler neck. A relay switch for opening and shutting the filler door is controlled according to the applying of a current flowing in the piezo-electric sensors.
