In order to adjust the frequencies of a component operating with acoustic waves, a GDE layer (GDE) is arranged in close mechanical contact with a piezoelectric excitation layer (PS, PS1) which can greatly alter the rigidity and the sound propagation velocity can under mechanical strain. The degree of material expansion or compression can be adjusted by means of two control voltage electrodes (ES2) and a piezoelectric adjustment layer (PS, PS2).
