1,187,435. Label webs. NEW JERSEY MACHINE CORP. 26 Jan., 1967 [28 Jan., 1966; 26 May, 1966], No. 29280/69. Divided out of 1,187,431. Heading B8F. A continuous web, e.g. of paper, has labels printed thereon in a repeating pattern, the pattern being such that the label web is suitable for use in the labelling machine described and claimed in the parent Specification. The pattern takes the form of either a pair of labels spaced by an increment or pairs of labels spaced by equal increments, the remaining labels being either closely spaced or abutting. A control element is located in a given position relatively to each increment and is adapted to be sensed by means forming part of the above machine to control the severing of the web. A further control element may be associated with each label.
|
