<p>A steam generator comprises a mask main body (12) in the form of a shape-retaining hollow three-dimensional body made of sheet material and having an open surface (11) for covering part of the human body, a flap-like holder piece (15) made of sheet material integrally with the mask main body (12), and a planar heating element (14) attached along the surface of the mask main body (12) by the flap-like holder piece (15) and adapted to generate heat by oxidation reaction to thereby generate steam, wherein the steam generator is used such that while allowing the steam generated by the heat generated by oxidation reaction to stay inside the mask main body (12), the open surface (11), for example, is opposed to the skin of the face or the open surface (11) covers the skin of the face.</p> |
