The massage insert for a tubular steel chair has a casing (10) with two fixings (11) at opposite sides. The casing has a chamber (12) with openings (12,13) at each end of a passage (14). The massage insert is made of a weak fabric and the chamber and openings are provided for elastic chair cords and a contoured massage insert.
