<p>A controller is used to adjust the coupling coefficients of devices along a bus. As a data signal is sent along the bus, devices which do not have any need to receive this data signal can be effectively “switched off” by reducing their coupling strengths to almost zero. Thusly any unnecessary removal of the data signal from the bus can be avoided and provides a stronger signal along the bus. The controller can adjust, by electronic means, coupling characteristics such as permeability, permittivity, capacitance, and, ferro-electric and electrorheological characteristics.</p> |
