发明名称 METHOD FOR FABRICATING CERAMIC MEDIA FOR BIOREACTOR
摘要 PURPOSE: Provided is a method for fabricating a ceramic media for a bioreactor, the method being capable of adjusting pore formation rates and pore sizes of the ceramic media by using organic compounds such as bran as a pore forming agent. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of preparing inorganic pellets at step S100 by crushing active inorganic materials containing silicon dioxide such as diatomite and bentonite, mixing 10 to 50 wt.% of diatomite and 50 to 90 wt.% of bentonite, adding moisture to the crushed inorganic material mixture and moulding the mixture of water and crushed inorganic material into spherical pellets, adding pore forming agent to the pellets, wherein the pore forming agent is an organic plant such as bran, drying the pellets in a sunny spot for 3 to 6 hrs at step S110, heating the pellets to a temperature of 300 to 400 deg.C and calcining the pellets at a temperature of 800 deg.C, thereby forming pores on the surface of the pellets at step S200 and drying the pellets with pores in the shade for 12 to 20 hrs at step S300.
