PURPOSE: A drawing type side sun visor of a car is provided to prevent damage of outward appearance due to damage of the sun visor by inserting the sun visor between a roof panel and a trim and drawing out the sun visor only at need. CONSTITUTION: A drawing type side sun visor of a car includes a sun visor(10), an operation shaft(28), a motor(34), and a stopping part. The sun visor is inserted between a roof panel and a trim of the car. The operation shaft has an end connected with the sun visor through a rack cable(24) and the other end on which a rack cable driving gear(30) and a rack cable slave gear(32) are mounted. The motor operates a motor shaft gear(36) geared with the slave gear through an idle gear(38) when external power source is applied. The stopping part stops the rotation of the motor through the idle gear.
