摘要

Glass production process, particularly for vessels, with improved temp. change resistance, leach resistance, mechanical strength and absorption of ultra-violet radiation consists of adding to a glass mass up to 90% powdered non-ferrous cupola slag, in amount up to 90% of constituents for lattice formation and modification. Specif., these are added as colouring raw materials, dependent on furnace atm., and amount of slag addition so as to produce the colours green to olive green, brown to black. The slag consists of SiO2, Sl2O3, CaO, Fe2O3, MgO, R2O (Na2O + K2O) and residual oxides (of Ti, Mn, Cu, Cr).
