PURPOSE: A drain plug structure of a cowl part for a vehicle is provided to drain water flowed into the cowl part and to cut off the inflow of foreign materials and noise from an engine room in case of no inflow of water. CONSTITUTION: A drain plug(100) formed into a cylindrical shape to drain water flowed into a cowl part to an engine room is composed of a combining part inserted and fixed to an outlet of the cowl part at the upper end and a drain line(120) mounted at a central axis to drain water flowed into the cowl part to the outside. The combining part comprises a combining groove(112) combined with an outer periphery of the outlet and upper and lower supporting sills preventing separation. The structure for the drain plug completely shuts a drain part(122) from the outside by the elasticity of rubber without the inflow of water, due to the drain line having a cross-shaped section of which a cross section is reduced from the upside to the lower side, and opens the drain part by the load of water in the inflow of water.
