METHOD FOR BACKING UP AND DOWNLOADING CELLULAR PHONE USER DATA

PURPOSE: A method for backing up and downloading cellular phone user data is provided to back up user data in a WAP server by using a cellular phone only through wireless data communication, thereby downloading the backed user data with the cellular phone. CONSTITUTION: A cellular phone controller stores cellular phone user data in a memory(S401). The controller displays a menu screen on a display device(S402). The controller decides whether a cellular phone user selects a data backup/download menu on the menu screen(S403). If so, the controller displays the data backup/download screen(S404). The controller decides whether the cellular phone user selects a data backup menu(S405). If so, the controller supplies the stored user data to a WAP server through a mobile communication network to back up the user data(S406).
