The invention relates to a nucleic acid, which binds to GnRH and to a method for the production and/or identification of nucleic acids, which bind to a target molecule, in particular of an inventive nucleic acid. According to said method: a) a heterogeneous population of nucleic acids is created, b) the population in step a) is contacted, c) the nucleic acids that do not interact with the target molecule are separated, d) the nucleic acids that interact with the molecule are optionally separated and e) the nucleic acids that have interacted with the target molecule are optionally sequenced. Said method is characterised in that the target molecule is GnRH.
