The table legs are X-shaped in side view. Each complete leg is a tubular rectangular frame which is slightly bent where they cross. The angle between the upper part of the legs is greater than the angle between the lower part. One rectangle is slightly broader than the other. The bracket (20) at each crossing point of the legs has two central portions (21,22) joined to each other side-by-side. The central portions of the bracket have a rectangular cross-section and a slight bend in the middle. There are slightly smaller-section upper and lower end portions (211,221) which plug into the open ends of upper and lower U-shaped leg portions. Ring shapes (212,222) project from the narrow sides of the end portions to frictionally engage the insides of the ends of the tubular leg portions.
