<p>A system (100) for a network operator (92) to manage a message-based application (80), provided to a subscriber (96), and an application provider (82), providing said application (80), in a communications network (90) connected to a message gateway (200) for relaying and translating messages (84) between the application (80) and the subscriber (96). The system (100) comprises: a subscription management module (110) for managing publication of the application (80) and subscription to the application (80) by the subscriber (96); an application management module (120) for managing the availability of the application (80) based on authorization by the network operator (92) and the application provider (82); and a message handler module (130) for managing relaying , translating and enhancing, with value-added information, of the messages (84) via the message gateway (200) based on information from the subscription management module (110) and the application management module (120).</p> |
