The standpipe cover hood (1) for rain water drain systems has a downpipe holder (2) formed on its top side and a standpipe holder (3) formed on its bottom side. The lower downpipe holder has a cut-out (4), open at the bottom and pointing downwards, for the wall fastening (8) of a standpipe clamp, and the standpipe holder can be slid onto the top side of the standpipe (5) and so cover the connecting point and standpipe clamp.
