The modular locking skirting board (1) in its lower region (5) is hung in the slide rail (3) of a modular holder component (2) and by pressure in the upper region (6) locks into a flexibly installed locking component (4). The skirting board in its upper region can be unlocked from the locking component and removed by lifting from the slide rail.
