<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the growth of molds and bacteria by draining remaining water after washing, and drying not only an inner tub but an outer tub in a washing machine for blowing hot air into the inner tub where laundry is stored. <P>SOLUTION: The inner tub 17 for storing the laundry is enclosed in the outer tub 1, and the hot air is supplied to the inner tub 17 through the use of a hot air supply means 26. The hot air is supplied to the inner tub 17 by the hot air supply means 26, and also the inner tub 17 is rotated, so that a tub drying course is performed, where the hot air is supplied to a part between the inner tub 17 and the outer tub 1 by rotating the inner tub 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
