The device for the identifying of residual synchronizing errors of several side by side slats or landing flaps (10) in aircraft has a current-carrying wire (12) led through the slats or flaps. The wire on one side is fixed in the region of the gaps (14) between the slats or landing flaps, and on the other side led through a separating device. By means of a detector the resistance change is established when the wire is separated.
