The present invention is directed to novel substituted pyrroline compounds of Formula (I) wherein R<1> is selected from the group consisting of a pyridinyl-R<5>, pyrimidinyl-R<5>, pyrazinyl-R<5>, furyl-R<5>, thienyl-R<5>, benzofuryl-R<5>, benzothienyl-R<5>, quinolinyl-R<5> and isoquinolinyl-R<5> ring attached to the indole nitrogen atom via a ring carbon atom;useful as kinase or dual-kinase inhibitors, methods for producing such compounds and methods for treating or ameliorating a kinase or dual-kinase mediated disorder such as cardiovascular, inflammatory, immunological, dermatological, oncological, CNS disorders and diabetes.
