An absorbing article, wherein when the base end parts (4a) of rise flaps (4) are connected so as to be positioned on both sides of an absorbing article (3), the connecting inner ends (e') of the base end parts (4a) of the rise flaps (4) folded into a flat are positioned on the outsides of the inner end s (4d) of the base end parts (4a), whereby even if hot melt adhesive agent is applied extrusively, the possibility of adhesion of free end parts (4b) to t he base end parts (4a) with extruded hot melt adhesive agent can be eliminated.
