A gearbox is disclosed, comprising an input shaft (1), an output shaft (2), at least one roller tooth gear (5), mounted eccentrically and rotatable with relation to the input shaft (1), whereby the axis (4) of the roller tooth gear (5) forms an angle with the axis (3) of the input shaft, a cage element (8) with contact surfaces for the roller teeth, whereby the roller teeth (7) on the roller teeth gear in contact with the cage element (8) press against the contact surfaces (9; 9'; 90) of the cage element, arranged at an angle relative to the direction of movement of the roller teeth and a cylindrical component (15; 15') with longitudinal holes (16) arranged at an angle to the longitudinal axis (3) of the gearbox, whereby the edges of the longitudinal holes (16) run at an angle to the contact surfaces (9; 9; 90) of the cage element and a roller tooth (7) is pressed between the approximately V-shaped opposing contact surfaces and edges of the longitudinal holes during the rotational motion of the input shaft (1). |
