The invention relates to a toothbrush (1) for buccal hygiene, which is made from a resistant, unbreakable and shatterproof material such as plastic. The inventive toothbrush (1) consists of a long support (2) comprising an upper, slightly-curved, stylised support section (3) which gradually diminishes in diameter and thickness towards the top of same, up to a point at which the width thereof increases to form an oval section or brush head (4). The front part of the aforementioned head comprises numerous tufts of bristles (5) which are embedded in said head and which are disposed perpendicular to same. The upper support section (3) is provided with numerous small, hemispherical projections (6) which are disposed almost on the inner part thereof, while the lower part of said support section (3) comprises a long, vertical, rounded projecting element (7). The upper part of both the right and left sides of the above-mentioned projecting element (7) comprises a small, long, narrow projection (8) while the upper front part of said projecting element (7) is provided with a circular recess (r). The invention also relates to a handle/case (9) for the toothbrush (1), which is made from a resistant material such as plastic and which comprises a truncated conical section (10) which is open at both the upper and lower ends thereof. The aforementioned conical section (10) comprises numerous small, hemispherical projections (6) close to the upper end thereof, while the upper, inner section of the truncated cone (10) comprises two long, narrow longitudinal grooves (11) which are disposed parallel to one another and numerous small hemispherical projections (6). Moreover, the invention relates to the system of mounting the toothbrush (1) on the handle/case (9) and of inserting the toothbrush (1) inside said handle/case (9). The invention further relates to a toothbrush support (15) which is used to hold a toothbrush (1) or similar element and which is fixed to a surface such as a wall, table, etc. |
