The shoe is shaped like a normal high-heeled ladies shoe. The normal rigid high heel is replaced by a rearwardly-facing C- shaped spring (2.6). The top end of the spring is screwed to the sole of the shoe in the region normally occupied by the high heel (2.3). The bottom end of the spring bears against a rearwardly-extended outer sole (2.5), under the middle part of the foot (2.2). The front part of the outer sole (2.4) is firmly fastened to the inner sole of the shoe in the ball of the foot and toe region (2.1).
