PURPOSE: A blue dye mixture of metal complex formazan is provided, to improve the dyeing efficiency (color yield) and the fastness compared with those of individual dye. CONSTITUTION: The blue dye mixture comprises two different compounds represented by the formula 1 in the molar ratio of 1:99 to 99:1, wherein A is H, Cl, a methoxy group or a sulfo group; M is H or a monovalent metal; R is H, a substituted or unsubstituted linear or branched alkyl group of C1-C4 or an optionally substituted aryl group; X is a halogen atom, OH, an alkoxy group of C1-C4, an alkylthio group of C1-C4, a substituted or unsubstituted amino group, or an N-heterocyclo group containing no or at least one hetero atom; Y is a vinyl group or -CH2-CH2-Q (wherein Q is an inorganic or organic radical capable of removed under the alkali condition); and -SO2Y comprises -o, -m and -p positions.
