The front flap (2) has a hooked spring (15) and a catch-hook (10). The vehicle bodywork (6) has the hook's support. When the front flap is in a catch position and near the catch hook, the vehicle's bodywork has an emergency control (16) which disengages the hooked spring from the area of the hook support. When the front flap is opened further, the connection between the emergency control and the catch-hook is released, with the lock's latch (8) on the bodywork, and the bolt part (9) on the front flap. The manually operated emergency operating element (13) in the boot is on the bodywork, with each possessing a control connection (22,26) to the lock latch and emergency control.
