An ethylene based polymer resin obtained by copolymerization of ethylene with a 5-20C alpha-olefin, and of melt index (MFR), determined at 190 degrees C under a load of 21.18 N in accordance with Japanese industrial standard JIS K7210-1995, of not less than 0.01 g/10 minutes and less than 1 g/10 minutes, where the melt index and the melt strain (sic) (MT) at 190 degrees C (unit: cN) of the resin comply with two given inequalities is new.
