摘要

A solid polymer type fuel cell that has a simple structure, realizes high output and is in miniaturized and thin form. In particular, a fuel cell comprising a solid polymer electrolyte membrane and, arranged so as to interpose the same, multiple fuel electrodes on one side of the solid polyme r electrolyte membrane and multiple oxidizer electrodes on the other side thereof so as to constitute multiple unit cells, these multiple unit cells electrically connected to each other through connection electrodes. Channels are provided at zones lying between adjacent unit cells on the solid polymer electrolyte membrane, so that the migration of hydrogen ion to adjacent unit cell can be restrained to thereby prevent voltage drop.
