DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OBTAINING ACCESS RIGHT BETWEEN MODULES ON PARALLEL BUS

PURPOSE: A device and a method for obtaining the access right between modules on a parallel bus are provided to enhance a bus efficiency by transmitting a token signal capable of allotting the bus access right. CONSTITUTION: A backplane interface logic(10) comprises a serial interface engine(11) and a control logic(12). The serial interface engine is placed between a control module and a data I/O(Input/Output) module, and transfers the token signal allotting the bus access right to each module by analyzing the information in a control bus, an address bus and a data bus. The control logic sets each module to communicate data through the serial interface engine as a master or a slave.
