<p>The invention encompasses GLP-1 compounds containing a GLP-1 peptide or a GLP-1 peptide with an extended C-terminus that is modified with a reactive group that is capable of forming covalent bonds with a blood component to form a conjugate. The conjugates may be formed in vivo or ex vivo. Methods of treating a subject in need of GLP-1 receptor stimulation using these GLP-1 compounds are also disclosed.</p> |
