PURPOSE: A guide unit of a guardrail for a road is provided to prevent accidents by distinguishing the guard rail easily between the road and the other area in the dark region such as a remote and secluded place among the mountains without lighting. CONSTITUTION: A guide unit for a guardrail in a road is composed of a transparent tube(10) made of transparent material and formed of a pipe; first and second caps(31,32) inserted to both sides of the transparent tube; a light bulb(40) formed in the first cap or the second cap; and a rectangular reflecting member(20) inserted to the transparent tube. The reflecting member is zigzagged longitudinally, and the light bulb is connected to a light detecting sensor to detect the brightness of the light. An accident such as fall or collision is prevented by distinguishing the guardrail conveniently.
