<p>A resin-coated steel pipe (1) excellent in mechanical strength such as sliding property, wherein a double coating structure is formed in a manner that it extends in the pipe axis direction and has substantially the same cross section, the structure comprising a thin steel pipe (2) and, attached to the outer surface thereof as a coating layer with an adhesive, an alloy resin (3) being a mixture of a styrenic resin and a crystalline engineering plastic and further, formed on the outer surface of the alloy resin (3) in a thickness required for exhibiting its mechanical strength such as sliding property, the crystalline engineering plastic (4). The resin-coated steel pipe exhibits markedly improved adhesion of the crystalline engineering plastic (4) to the thin steel pipe (2) and thus is free from a fear of the exfoliation of the plastic.</p> |
