Disclosed is a unit for electrically motorizing soldering pliers by means of an electric motor comprising a core (1) which supports the stator and the front of which is provided with a fixing flange (2) while the ends thereof are closed by means of a front plate (2) and a rear plate (6), a rotor (3) which rotates within the stator and is provided with a motor shaft (4), the rear plate (6) supporting the power supply connectors of the motor and, optionally, means for controlling the motor such as resolvers, encoders, and/or decoders while the front plate supports the motor shaft. The inventive core (1) optionally receives a removable cooling module (7).
