METHOD FOR PRODUCING ALUMINOSILICATE MATERIAL

The invention relates to chemistry and the production of silicates and aluminosilicates which can be used as building and heat insulating materials. Said materials have a highly homogeneous porosity and can be used as a carrying agent for catalytic and sorption processes in the chemical industry. The inventive method for producing aluminosilicate material consists in preparing a raw mixture from a natural clay mineral and water, forming said mixture, drying and calcinating it. According to the invention, non-organic substances which form glazing are added to said raw mixture in a quantity raging from 5 % to 10 %. An article is formed by filling the raw mixture in a mould provided with gas-permeable membranes. During drying, a specified part of the surface of a formed article is left open, the drying being carried out in infrared flux with a wavelength ranging from 5 mkm to 10 mkm and associated with forced extraction.
