PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to achieve improved purity of blue color by adding a blue material to the transparent electrode used as an electrode. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises an upper substrate on which a pair of sustain electrodes are formed; and a lower substrate on which an address electrode crossing the pair of sustain electrodes is formed, wherein the lower substrate is opposed to the upper substrate with a discharge space formed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. The pair of sustain electrodes includes blue transparent electrodes(42Y,42Z); and metal electrodes formed on the blue transparent electrodes. |
