Device for positioning a sample tube (8) filled with a measurement substance at the center of an NMR receiver coil system that is held in a rigid support device. The device comprises centering devices (9a, 9b, 9b') as well as an axial positioning device (20b) arranged above or below the receiver coil system. The radially operating centering devices form part of the receiver coil system.
